EMBEDDED SYSTEMS
We develop Operating System, Networking and Storage software layers for space & base RF sub-systems.
Typically we run kernel architectures but can accommodate any requirement. AvionicApps software
systems are highly confident, can be real-time or concurrent but always execute with superior availability.
AvionicApps excels in the design, development and deployment of software for embedded systems for aerospace applications.

Most of our products involve some level of computation, communication and sensing. We write for existing firm/hardware, new OTS systems, or custom architectures. We can also upgrade/enhance many of your current applications depending on the complexity as often times bolt-ons can bring just as much value as a rip-and-replace. All products are designed to be compliant with typical industry standards like DO/JSF/ISO.
USER INTERFACES
Since most mission failures are human related, we place a heavy emphasis usability and operational sophistication of our UIs.
Our UIs are designed in parallel with the other system components. At AvionicApps, the UI is just as important as the core.
We have built countless UI experiences that are incredibly compatible with operator behaviors and account for user skill levels,
fatigue and old fashioned mistakes using bullet-proof system controls.
Intuitive user Interfaces, control software and data acquisition systems are our specialty. We consult on all phases of the SDLC for these products and usually have basic working prototypes ready in only a few weeks. We offer both command line and graphical experiences.
